JAPAN’S NO.1 COFFEE

For coffee enthusiasts in this part of the world, the concept of Japanese coffee can be both surprising and intriguing. 
The challenge was to launch Japan’s No. 1 coffee brand, Ueshima Coffee, to UK caffeine lovers. We created a fun and disruptive campaign featuring Maneki-neko, a common Japanese figurine. The beckoning cat, a Japanese icon that brings good luck, while unusual, is very well-suited to the brand.
Working with the creative team, I visualised campaign ideas.
